Elisa Grajeda-Urmston

I am a musician, poet, editor, and college professor. My poetry and short stories have appeared in Xicano Poetry Daily, Palabra, and Whistling Fire. I earned my MFA from CSUSB, and my band, Caliente, is still active in the local music scene. My book, Sound Check--A Musician's Story in Song and Verse, will be available December 15, 2017, from Jamii Press. I am honored to feature the lovely artwork of Tamara Adams in this publication.
